K3 Jury

K3 is an experiment and a discourse – or just different!

The K3 Award is not given away by a jury anymore. Its winner is going to be the outcome of an open discussion the whole audience is invited to participate in. So the jury can fully focus on preselection. This ensures a high quality programme so that each presented short film would earn the award. It's our intention to become the best selected film festival in Austria.

2010 festival organizer Fritz Hock and two other jurors were supported by bady minck.

As a curator bady minck has put together film programmes for the Academy of Arts in Berlin, Bogazici University in Istanbul, Independent Film Show Napoli, Cinémathèque Luxembourg, Filmcasino Wien, Film Festival Fantoche, Switzerland, Batofar Paris, Soundart Festival Hannover and Son Ambiente Festival Berlin. In 2003 she curated the special programme "Relokalisierung" at the international Short Film Festival Oberhausen.
As a jury member she contributed to choose the winners of film art and fine art awards; e.g. as a member of the Orizzonti Jury at the Venice Film Festival 2009.

The head of jury for 2011 is not fixed yet.
