Special screening for Youngsters

Friday, November 23rd, 11.00am at Stadtkino Villach

With the example of last year’s participant film – Home, Francesco Filippi, Italy 2011, 15’ – Prof. Arno Russegger will let 12 to 13 year-old pupils feel what film is. His aim is to let the young ones – before they take stance for or against something – develop their own point of interpretation, and before all others - to develop their own feelings towards cinema. His approach is amongst others strongly inspired by Alain Bergsala and his book "L’hypothèse cinéma – Kino als Kunst". For example, Russegger will especially work on the shout, that is so commonly used in cinema. The presentation or rather the cooperation with the pupils had been worked out together with students throughout a seminar held at the University of Klagenfurt. The screening was made possible with the kindly support of Landesjugendreferat Kärnten.
