IDEALS and IDOLS! – K3 Film Festival 2023
This year’s festival theme, “IDEALS AND IDOLS” is a fascinating and multifaceted concept, inviting a wide range of interpretations and reflections. Films don’t have to adhere to this theme, but it should encourage possible readings of the festival´s programme.
In a world heading in a challenging direction, can there still be idols, do ideals endure? We believe so. But neither the films nor we will provide definitive answers. What films and festivals can do is connect you with others. The screen reflects images, and fellow viewers share thoughts and emotions. In this resonance, glimpses of ideals and idols may emerge. And it is these reflections that YOU will leave the festival with.
