Slowenien, 1999: Zwei Freunde haben genug vom engen Dorfleben in der Provinz und brechen mit ihren aufgemotzten Mopeds auf zu einem Road-Trip durch das noch junge Ex-Jugoslawien. Unterwegs durch die Träume der Vergangenheit und die Visionen der Zukunft schließen sich eine mysteriöse Ausreißerin und ein alter Biker ihrem Selbstfindungstrip an. Angetrieben von wilden Impulsen und dem Bruch mit konservativen Traditionen begegnen und begreifen sie Dinge, die einst unvorstellbar waren.

Director’s Statement:
Looking at the world today, which seems more closed up and divided than ever, we need stories that question this status quo. The characters of the movie are  confronted with prejudices into which they are pushed in one way or another. All too often we forget that the identity we carry as individuals is something that changes and is shaped based on the decisions we make on our path through life. Not to forget that even the journey itself requires a decision. The film deals with hope, personal beliefs and the idea of freedom, but at its core it is about the possibility to change; it is about the choices that we all have.
