Werner Fiedler is an Austrian filmmaker who was born in 1976 in Weiz and lives now with his family in Klagenfurt in the south of Austria. In the 90s he started a successful career as a freelance editor, cameraman and producer for international television productions, where he learned the craft of filmmaking from scratch. In 2002 he experimented with a first fictional short film and since then he has completed several masterclasses under the direction of renowned screenwriters and directors. For his films, he has already received numerous awards from international film festivals.
