A Robinson Crusoe-like man finds himself stranded on a deserted island. Not in the middle of the ocean though, he loses contact with the outside world in the very heart of a vital city. 

In consideration of  the “age of loneliness”, a term coined by George Monbiot, the film deals with a phenomenon which is increasing rapidly throughout all social classes in the economically most developed countries.
