Siniša Gačić

born 1980 in Ljubljana, graduated at the Ljubljana Academy of Theater, Radio, Film and Television in 2013. Since 1999, he has been employed by Radio Television Slovenia as a journalist and director and has produced several documentaries. The film Fighting a Community (2014) of protesters at the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, inspired by the Occupy Movement, won the award for Best Picture at the 17th Slovenian Film Festival. Gacic also received the Stiglic’s Look for Outstanding Directing Award from the Directors Guild of Slovenia.
