K3 Film Festival 2021
Emergency brake. A festival with the #exclusion of filmmakers who cannot come or an audience who is not allowed to come is not an option for us. Neither is live streaming. We are postponing the short film programs the whole festival to spring 2022 with the theme: Re: Animated.
The feature film section, which is largely linked to the Carinthian Culture Prize Awards, will still take place at December 18.
2020
After a very long lockdown in Austria from 2 November 2020 on, we can now finally celebrate the opening of the K3 Film Festival – as planned – with EPICENTRO, a documentary film not only on Cuba, by the renowned Oscar-nominated director Hubert Sauper. The director is present at this first screening on 2 June 2021 at 6pm in Stadtkino Villach. There is another 36 long and short films waiting to be presented. Dates for the upcoming programmes will be published here and on our social media channels.
