Copenhagen, Denmark. University students start a political boycott. But before they had come around, Danish higher education had undergone a profound, yet controversial restructuring. And before that, the Soviet Union had fallen. And even earlier than that, a devastating conflict had broken out in the Middle East. Nowadays, it is its brutal echo that is pushing the students to demand justice. Yet, politics is not what it used to be. Politicians seem to be looking for fun, rather than solutions. But maybe, just maybe, the students’ boycott has a deeper meaning for our society, and even for our own selves, than we can begin to imagine.
