In the middle of the ten-day war for Slovenian Independence (1991), Ratko and Tugo daydream about the future of their newborn country. Both have volunteered for military service, but not much is happening on the barricade to be guarded. So they decide to throw a party for Ratko’s 30^th birthday. But as they literally let their guard down, the events take them by surprise … and at the same time Yugoslavia wins for the last time the European championship in basketball.
