Directed several successful short films, including Tascheninhalt und Nasenbluten (1995 – Austrian Short Film Prize), Blindgänger – Duds (1996 – Venice Film Festival), and Girls and Cars (2004 – Cannes Film Festival), all of which were invited to numerous international film festivals. Conceptualized and created experimental film installations such as Oil Film (1994), Loop’s End (2003), and the acoustic journey moving landscape© (2002), as well as music videos.
In addition, he worked as an editor on numerous feature and documentary films, including La Capa Gira and Mio Cognato by Alessandro Piva and Perl oder Pica by Pol Cruchten. Together with the band Naked Lunch, he realized the film concert Sperrstunde – Closing Time in 2005 (Locarno – Video Competition). That same year, he received the Recognition Award for Film and Multimedia from the State of Carinthia.
In 2008, he directed his new music film Universalove and developed the feature film Die Räuber – Reloaded.
For his 2015 feature film Bad Luck, Woschitz partially filmed in the Villach region.
